both are excellent, but I prefer newegg just because the layout is simpler. Plus I have had no problems from past orders. All my computer equipment came working properly.

Can't go wrong with either. I've only ordered one thing from tigerdirect but estimated shipping was 7 days and it arrived the next day. Newegg support is great they have a chat you can use so you don't have to speak with people in India on the phone. Have had to have one thing replaced customer service took less than 5 minutes to issue a RMA. I don't know if tiger direct allows paypal but newegg sure does. The reliability of newegg can't really be beat imo never had a problem with them

I don't know about New Egg but I had a bad experience with Tiger Direct before. Their customer service is bad, and if you request a refund, it would be even worse. Since you like New Egg, I would suggest to go with it. Or you might want to check out Amazon, their service is guarantee for your money. Their refund policy is good as well. TigerDirect has more diversity, and the shipping is very fast. I have bought off of TigerDirect, but NewEgg never has what I want. They are both well-known and good. I would go with the option that saves the most bucks. There is no reason to spend more money on NewEgg in your situation.
