can the xbox 360 premium support my monitors resolution 1440 x 900?

i've seen on reviews that the display is 1080 x 720 for xbox 360 premium, but my monitors resolution is 1440 x 900 and i am planning to play xbox 360 games on my monitor. i have the vga cable, xbox 360 PREMIUM and dell 24" monitor, so will it display 1440 x 720? thanks!

IMy friend has an Xbox 360. He has a VGA adapter and he runs 1440x900 on his 17 inch monitor no problems. I am not sure if you have the same adapter (chances are yes) but it will run it fine and look great.

The XBox 360 can support resolutions of up to 1920x1080 (aka 1080p High Definition) if you use either the HDMI cable or the HDAV VGA cable, provided that your monitor can go up that high. Hope this helps.
