How are viewsonic v2260wm monitors for gaming?

I want to get a nice monitor for halo 3 with no lag and good picture. I was doing some research and came across that mlg used these monitors last year in their tournament. I was wondering if someone could tell me how good it is for gaming

honestly, i use a five year old VGA 1280x1024 LCD with a horrible contrast ratio, and games look perfectly fine on it.
